Choosing a new game for your console

If you are looking to buy a new game for your gaming console then you need to do your research to find out if it is something you are going to enjoy. It may be that you have played previous chapters of the game or that you have played a demo, but if not try and read plenty of reviews to get a feel for what it is like. It is not unusual for games to cost in excess of £50 so you want to make sure you are going to enjoy them before you have to splash out on one.
Games are often split in to different genres such as Role play games, strategy games, fighting games and racing games. It may be that you only like one type of game and these for only ever play these.
If you pay for an online subscription to the PlayStation store or the Xbox store, you may have access to demos and free games on a monthly basis. This is a great way to trial a new genre of game without having to spend a fortune. You may then wish to purchase the full game or another one in the series if you enjoyed the first one so much.
