It may be that you have the latest games console every time it comes out and that you possibly have a stash of older consoles that are just collecting dust in the cupboard. IF this is the case then now is the perfect time to have a clear out. Firstly, you need to check that they all work. Try and leave them running for a hour or so to check that they do not switch off. Next check to see how much you may get for them. You may wish to sell them privately on Facebook Marketplace or on Ebay or you may decide that you want to trade them in at shops such as CEX or Game. If trading in you may get more for your console if you are willing to accept store credit rather than cash.

If the console is not worth much but still in good working order then you should look to see if you can gift it. There are often charities asking for donations of games consoles, especially in the run up to Christmas. These may be given to families that do not have much money to buy presents or that are currently living in sheltered accommodation.

Some games consoles, do lose a lot of money overtime so it is sometimes worth holding on and buying a second hand one to save some money.
