It may be that when you get a new game, you spend a lot of time on it and often end up completing it within a week or two. Some people even complete a new game is a day or so. Second hand games can often be picked up for less than new but you do have to check as if the game is on offer, there are times when it is cheaper to buy it new.

Sometimes if the game has only just come out, it may only be a few pounds cheaper than new, but if it has been out for a little while then you can often save £10-£20. If you buy a second hand game from a shop or reputable online store then you will most likely get a warranty with it so you have peace of mind that if it doesn’t work you can return it.

If you complete a game that is popular then you may wish to trade it in or sell it on yourself to try and make some of your money back on it.
